Covid-19 visor - from idea to product in less than 1 week

At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we were contacted by the Central Denmark Region.

They needed to develop and produce a visor for healthcare professionals in hospitals. They didn't have 3D files, just an idea.

The enquiry came on Tuesday and we had a brainstorm meeting the following day.
On Friday, we produced the first 3D printed prototypes, which were presented to the customer and approved immediately.
On Saturday, a milling programme is created and the moulding tool is milled.
Sunday we assemble the moulding tool.
On Monday, the first visors are made, packed and collected.

It's less than 1 week from idea to the customer holding the first mass-produced items in their hands. And what started with 5,000 visors a day grew to 1.4 million CE approved visors in total.
